Inspired To Right Injustices
Ari Williams was born and raised in the Englewood area on the south side of Chicago. Watching people of color have their civil rights violated was a part of daily life. Police officers would search homes in the neighborhood without a warrant and regularly stop and frisk black men who happened to be walking down the street. Ari has seen it all. These daily injustices suffered by people of color in her neighborhood inspired Ari to become a criminal defense attorney and fight the injustices that were happening around her.
